This product will be used for professional computing acceleration purposes and can perform operations such as ML machine learning.
The whistleblower said that the chip has an area of 1000mm 2, which is about 20% larger than the previous generation GA100 chip. The GH100 is expected to be officially released at Nvidia’s GTC 2022 event in March.
Although it has been reported that the GH100 uses MCM multi-chip packaging, some sources said that this chip does not use MCM technology, and the area of a single chip reaches 1000mm 2.
